Freedom Dancers Terms and Conditions

Joining & Membership Fees

  • Joining Fee: £35 (one-off payment on joining).
  • Annual Membership Fee: £35, taken on 1st January. Covers insurance, administration, teacher training, props/equipment, and support for shows and performances.

Monthly Class Subscription

  • Payment taken on the 1st of each month.
  • Covers 37 weeks of classes, spread over 12 months.
  • Late fee of £10 applies if payment is not received on time.
  • Payments are non-refundable.

Cancellation

  • Must be emailed to freedomdancersfamily@gmail.com with 1 month’s notice.
  • One further month’s payment is required after notice.

Attendance & Replacement Classes

  • Regular attendance is encouraged for progress and enjoyment.
  • Replacement teachers provided if needed.
  • If a class is canceled by Freedom Dancers, a replacement class will be scheduled.

Uniform & Equipment

  • Freedom Dancers uniform must be worn for all classes.
  • Props/equipment provided must be used responsibly.

Behaviour & Health

  • Students must behave respectfully and follow instructors’ guidance.
  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or special requirements.
  • Freedom Dancers may refuse participation if safety is at risk.
  • Freedom Dancers has a zero tolerance on Bullying.

Performance Participation

  • Students may be invited to shows, competitions, or public performances.
  • Parental consent is required.
  • Commitment and attendance are expected for all performance activities.

Photography & Filming

  • Photos/videos may be taken for promotional purposes.
  • Please notify us if you do not wish your child to appear through your classforkids app

Communication

  • All updates sent via WhatsApp groups and email.

Emergency & Weather Closures

  • Updates will be sent via WhatsApp/email if classes are canceled.
  • Replacement classes may be scheduled at Freedom Dancers’ discretion.

Liability

  • Freedom Dancers is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury to personal property.
  • Participation is at the child’s own risk.
